How to Open Folder Options in Windows 7

Modification in folder properties are done through the folder options.This tutorial will help you to explain the step to access folder options in Windows 7. There are three methods to access the folder options in Windows 7 as mentioned below.

Method 1

Step 1

From Start -> Control Panel (Large Icons). It will open All Control Panel Items view

Step 2

Press Folder Options icon. Folder Options window will appear.  Apply to Folders button will be disabled. It will be enabled when you will select two or more folders at the same time and apply same functionalities on all folders using this button.

Method 2

Step 1

From Start search box, type window explorer & press enter.

Step 2

Windows Explorer window will appear. Click on the Organize button. (See screenshot below)

Step 3

Click Folder and Search Options. Folder Option window will appear. Apply to Folders button will be disabled. It will be enabled when you will select two or more folders at the same time and apply same functionalities on all folders using this button.

Step 1

In Windows Explorer window, click on the Tools on Menu bar item & select Folder Options.

Step 2

Folder options window will appear.
