How to Manage Windows 7 Wi-Fi List

Manage the wireless networks is another feature in Window 7. You can view the list of available networks, reorder modify them & get connected to desired network connection from the list. Here are the following steps to manage Wi-Fi list.

Step By Step

Step 1

Click icon on the right bottom corner in system tray, the pop-up with available wireless networks window will appear.

Note: you can also change the network connectivity option from pop-up above window. Simply click on the desired network, .you want to connect with.  If network key is being asked, enter the security key to establish a successful connection

Step 2

You can access “Open Network and Sharing Center” option from the opened pop-up window. Click on “Manage wireless networks” option as highlighted in figure

Note: Alternately, the above option can be accessible from Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Centre.

Step 3

Manage wireless networks will open new window showing the multiple available networks in the list.

Note: To modify the order list of available wireless networks, simply drag the desired network icon on your requirement. You can assign a new position that may be top most, bottom most or anywhere in the middle & get connected to the desired network.
