How to Import and Export Cookies in Internet Explorer

This tutorial will help you to import or export your cookies to use as it a backup, or import into another computer or user account.

Export Cookies

Step 1

In Internet Explorer, Click Favorite button on left & then choose Add to Favorites arrow link and select Import and Export option

Step 2

Select Export to a file option and press Next button.

Step 3

Check Cookies checkbox & press Next button

Step 4

Browse to the location to save the exported Cookies, type in a desired name and Press Save button. Press Export button.

Step 5

When Done, Press Finish button. Cookies will successfully be exported to desired location.

Note
Cookies are stored in hidden folder for each user account C:\Users\system user name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low
& C:\Users\ system user name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

Import Cookies

Step 1

In Internet Explorer, Click Favorite button on left & then choose Add to Favorites arrow link and select Import and Export option

Step 2

Select Import to a file option and press Next button.

Step 3

Check Cookies checkbox & press Next button

Step 4

Browse to the location you have saved exported Cookies to import it, Press Open button. Press Import button.

Step 5

When done, Click Finish button. Cookies will successfully be imported.
