Allow or Block Unrated Websites with Internet Explorer Content Advisor

This tutorial will help to allow or block all users to view websites that have no rating with Content Advisor.

Step 1

Consider Content Advisor is enabled. From Start -> Control Panel (All Item Views) and press Internet Options icon. Alternatively, In Internet Explorer menu click on Tools -> Internet Options.

Step 2

In Content tab Press Settings button. If User access control screen appear, press Yes button.

Step 3

Enter existing Content Advisor supervisor password and press OK.

Step 4

Content Advisor window will appear. In General tab

Step 5

In case of allow unrated websites to be viewed, In User options section; check the Users can see websites that have no rating box in above screenshot step 4, press OK.

Step 6

In case of block unrated websites to be viewed, In User option section, uncheck the Users can see websites that have no rating box in above screenshot step 4, press OK.

Step 7

Close the internet explorer when done.
