How to Perform Disk defragmentation in Windows 7

This tutorial will show you how to use Disk Defragmenter Consolidates for fragmented files on your computer’s hard disk to improve system performance.
Disk Defragmenter option rearranging fragmented data of your disks and also drivers which can be help to work more efficiently.

Note: It is recommended to use this option after some duration for improving your system performance

Step by Step Configuration

Step 1

Firstly, Right Click on Computer icon on your desktop and then click on Manage option.

Step 2

After follow the first step the Computer Management appears.

Step 3

Then click on Storage -> Disk Management so you will see all partition information.

Step 4

Right click on any partition which you want to apply de-fragment option and then click on Properties.

Step 5

After clicking on Properties then click on Tools tab and then click on Defragment now… button.

Step 6

When you click on Defragment now… button so Disk Defragmenter window appears.
Now you select any partition and then click on Defragment disk button for defragment process start.

This process will take some time for fragment the partition.
