Turn On /Off Remote Desktop Sharing in Window 7

Remote Desktop is required when you want to connect host system with another system over a network to share its data or desktop. Following steps can be followed to enable remote desktop sharing:

Step by Step

Step1

From Start -> Computer option, right mouse click on the computer icon, a menu bar will appear. From menu bar select Properties option.

Step 2

System screen will appear, on left corner in navigation pan, click Remote settings link.

System properties screen will appear. Now you can turn on remote settings from this screen.

Step 4

You can finally allow remote desktop connection for all windows XP and 2k version. Select option “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote desktop(less secure).

Note: By default Remote Desktop is disabled, All versions of windows have remote desktop sharing except home editions
