Reset or Change the Internet Explorer Content Advisor Password

This tutorial will help to reset / change the Windows 7 Internet Explorer Content Advisor supervisor password.

Step 1

From Start -> Control Panel (All Items view), and press on the Internet Options icon or, In Internet Explorer menu, click on Tools -> Internet Options.

Step 2

In Internet options window, select Content tab and Press Settings button. If Setting button is disabled, Press Enable button and create supervisor password.  If User access control screen appear, press Yes button.

 Step 3

Supervisor Password required screen will appear, enter existing current Content Advisor supervisor password and press OK. 

Step 4

Content Advisor screen will appear, select General tab and press Change Password button

Step 5

Enter old supervisor password, your new password twice to confirm it, and hint and press OK.

Step 6

Click OK for respective screen

NOTE:

For this administrator account is required, this option is applicable when current Internet Explorer Content Advisor supervisor password is known and would just like to change it.
