Create User Account Password in Windows 7

Once new user account is created then it is essential to create a password for that account for securing your Windows 7 account. In this tutorial I am assuming that user account was already created with he name of  “Adam” and creating password for the same.

Following are the steps which are required to create user password in Windows 7.

Step By Step

Step 1

Go to Start >> Click Control Panel

Step 2

Control panel Window appears displaying all the categories.

Step 3

Click User Accounts and Family Safety Categories in control panel window, User accounts an family safety window appears.

Step 4

Click on User accounts to show up the User accounts window showing administrator account as I am using the same account.

Step 5

In this tutorial our task is to create “Adam” User password for doing that click on Manage another account as you can see option is underlined in the below image.

Step 6

Manage user account window appears showing three accounts but at current point of time we are concerned about User “Adam” account.

Step 7

Click on User “Adam” account, create an account window appears click on create a password option.

Step 8

Create password for Adam’s account Window appears as shown in the snapshot below.

Step 9

Enter new password and re-enter to confirm it in new password and confirm new password textbox.

Step 10

Click create password button to complete the create user account password process.

Now, User “Adam” account is password protected as shown in the above screenshot
