Show, Hide and Resize Desktop Icons in Windows 7

Desktop icons are the shortcuts to give quick access to the Windows user. In this tutorial you will see the steps to show, Hide and Resize the desktop icons. It all depends which action you perform to manage the desktop icons.

Show Icons in Windows 7

 

Step 1

Right Click on blank area of desktop

Step 2

Click on View > Click the Show desktop icons

Step 3

Now you can see the Show desktop icons is checked, icons will be appeared on the desktop

Hide Icons in Windows 7

 

Step 1

Right Click on blank area of your desktop, menu will appear as shown in the below snapshot.

Step 2

Click on View > Click the Show desktop icons

Step 3

Uncheck the Show desktop icons, all the icons will hide. Please note that the icons are only hidden not deleted.

Resize Desktop Icon

 

Step 1

Right Click on blank area of desktop

Step 2

Click on view > click on large or medium or small icon
