How to Add/Remove Programs in Window 7

You can remove or change a program from your system. Programs and Features option is being used to uninstall programs or you can also change the program’s configuration by adding or removing certain options.

Step by Step

Step 1

Click Start -> Control Panel -> Programs option

Step 2

On Program screen, you will find Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program option.

Step 3

List of programs will appear which are ready to uninstall, change or repair. If you want to remove program from the list, select a program & press Uninstall option. If some changes are required in program, simply click Change option

Note: If administrator password or confirmation is required, type the password or provide confirmation.

If you select a program & press uninstall button, a confirmation message will be appear

  This was LAME!!

  Windowds 7 DOES NOT ask if you want to unilstall. Windows 7 asks if you will allow the program that you choose to make changes to your computer. If yousay no, it DOES NOT remove the application!!

  Your “carrot page” claims it’s “How to Add…Programs in Windows 7″. Yet you only show how to remove!
